Commissioned by the city of Pittsburgh to honor all police who gave their lives in the line of duty. The officer is positioned on the shore of the Allegheny River, looking across the river to keep a protective eye on the city. Fallen Pittsburgh police K-9 officer Rocco was recently added to the monument.
